Idaho’s Original Corn Maze
Feel like a challenge? Bring your friends, bring your compass and tackle this years MAiZE creation! The MAiZE has been our signature attraction from the start, each year featuring a different design that is sure to get you corn-fused.
If you fly in or out of the Boise airport, there is a good chance you will catch a glimpse of the 2012 MAiZE taking shape. Check back as we get closer to the season, but let’s just say 2012 is all about choices!
The MAiZE is carved into 18 acres of corn, and is divided into two phases.
Interactive features of The MAiZE:
- Passports: Choose a trivia topic of your choice before you go in, answer the questions as you come to numbered posts, and let your correct answers lead you out. Get passport questions at the Country Store (passports can be customized for your group–send us an email if you would like to do this)
- Maize-o-poly: Get a gameboard from the Country Store and see how much “money” you can rack up on your farm experience. Land on stations through the MAiZE to score big– or go bust. Can you become “Farmer of the Ear?”
- Text Clues: Those texting thumbs might save the day as you come across signs that let you text for a clue.
Not sure if you want to tackle the whole MAiZE? Try our Kiddie Corn Maze, set in the same field of corn but much shorter and easier to navigate.
Friday and Saturday nights in October a designated portion of our cornfield becomes The Field of Screams. Click the image for more info about the Field of Screams.
